This role assists the delivery driver in the safe loading and unloading of furniture and providing excellent customer service on delivery.
Responsibilities Overview – Delivery Helper
Assist driver with safe operation of delivery truck.
Safely and efficiently load furniture on company trucks for customer delivery.
Safely and efficiently unload furniture and place in customers’ home.
Ensure excellent customer service on delivery
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting delivery manifest requirements.
Available and qualified to assume duties of driver when needed.
Requirements – Delivery Helper
Possess current driver’s license and qualified DMV report.
Maintain qualifications for DOT driver file.
In general, Tuesday through Saturday schedule but can be changed by business needs.
Ability to perform physical activities including standing for multiple hours and the ability to carry and lift weights of up to 150 lbs. with assistance
High school diploma or equivalent required
Attention to detail
Oral and written communications skills are required
