This role is responsible for the service and repair of all types of furniture, both wood and upholstery. Service is performed both in the warehouse and in the customer’s home.
Responsibilities Overview – Service and Repair Technician
Responsible for the safe operation of the service van.
Coordinates service calls with customer in a timely manner.
Ensures parts are on hand for repair and furniture is repaired to customer satisfaction.
Ensure excellent customer service
Ability to work and repair in a fast-paced environment meeting service schedule requirements
Requirements – Service and Repair Technician
Possess craftsman skills in wood and upholstery repair.
Possess current driver’s license and qualified DMV report.
Maintain qualifications for DOT driver file.
In general, Tuesday through Saturday schedule but can be changed by business needs.
Ability to perform physical activities including standing for multiple hours and the ability to carry and lift weights of up to 150 lbs. with assistance
High school diploma or equivalent required
Attention to detail
Oral and written communications skills are required
