As a Room Attendant (Housekeeper), you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa. This role is essential in ensuring that guests feel welcomed and comfortable during their stay. You will clean and service rooms to the highest standards, providing an exceptional guest experience through attention to detail, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean & Maintain Guest Rooms: Ensure that all assigned rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This includes dusting, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors and windows, wiping surfaces, and thoroughly sanitizing all areas.
- Bed Linen & Towels: Change bed linens and towels regularly, following hotel brand standards to present a crisp, clean look and feel for our guests.
- Bathroom Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and disinfect the bathroom, including mirrors, sinks, toilets, showers, and floors. Ensure all toiletries are replenished and properly arranged.
- Room Inspection: Visually inspect all rooms assigned, including vacant maintenance (VM) and vacant ready (VR) rooms, to ensure they meet brand and cleanliness standards. Report any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
- Trash Removal & Item Reporting: Collect and dispose of all trash in rooms, hallways, and common areas. Report any missing or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor for immediate attention.
- Room Setup: Prepare rollaway beds upon request, organize guest rooms, and check under beds to ensure a spotless environment. Remove any room service trays and place them in the hallway for pickup.
- Cart Restocking: Restock housekeeping carts with linens, cleaning supplies, and toiletries, ensuring readiness for the next shift.
- Lost & Found: Adhere to hotel policies for reporting and handling any lost and found items discovered during room cleaning.
- Turnover Efficiency: Recheck all rooms at departure times and inform the Housekeeping Supervisor of room readiness for the next guest.
