Overview

This is a seasonal position. Housing and Meals provided at $19/day. 

As a Marketing Photo and Video Intern, you will develop original photo and video content and suggest creative ways to attract new customers and promote Grand Hotel.

• Capture photo and video content to be used to create social media content for the hotel, all restaurants, and businesses for Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.
• Support day-to-day management of copy, images, and videos for individual property account, organic content calendars, creating both static and story content.
• Capture photo and video content of events, weddings, package weekends to share in real time on social channels.
• Work with marketing team to ensure content is informative and appealing
• Collaborate with property teams on seasonal activations and photoshoots
• Editing of marketing videos and photos in various formats for utilization in various marketing campaigns, advertising, digital advertising, and website.
• Research and share trends, and new technology in social media marketing
• Familiarity and understanding of Sprout Social and how to manage multiple accounts

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in photography, video production and social media
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills
• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
• Must have an elevated level of creativity, organization, and self-motivation
• Graphic design, photo, and video editing knowledge required.
