LEISURE MARKETING SPECIALIST

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Director of Commercial Services, this position provides support for transient leisure and marketing tactics. Assist in Travel Advisor inquires and collaborate with reservations and operations to ensure delivery of exceptional guest service. Assist the Marketing department with brand messaging to the transient leisure guests. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Reputation management: Answer all guest-facing online reviews; TripAdvisor, Google, Expedia, Social Media

• Manage organic & Paid social media.

• Assist with media accommodations and social influencers – while conducting site tours and other media related tasks

• Work alongside digital and public relation agencies to ensure the traffic of ads, messaging and media story based on hotel strategy

• Work with individual hotel departments on their collateral and creative needs (F&B Menus, Spa efforts, hotel signage).

• Edit and manage both property websites

• Assist with billing and other office tasks as needed

• Support marketing and revenue departments with familiarization events on/off the property; specifically for media and travel agents

• Works with travel agents and other 3rd party consortia to support the hotels leisure strategy

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00. This is the pay for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay.

• Refined verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Social Media, Excel, Word. PowerPoint and Outlook

• Be knowledgeable of relevant consortia partners: Virtuoso, Fine Hotels, Resorts, Signatures, Travel Leaders, and others

• Knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

Position is Monday – Friday, but the schedule will require flexibility on weekends and evenings as needed. Preferred one year experience in leisure travel or marketing, but not required. Duties are as assigned.
