The Public Space Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of common areas and public spaces within the hotel. This role ensures that all public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, lounges, elevators, and outdoor spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all public areas including the lobby, corridors, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and outdoor spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust common areas as needed.
- Ensure all furniture, fixtures, and decorations are well-maintained, clean, and in good condition.
- Clean and maintain windows, mirrors, glass doors, and other surfaces to ensure they are streak-free.
- Keep restrooms clean, stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.), and sanitize all fixtures.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance with any inquiries about hotel amenities or directions to other areas within the hotel.
- Report any guest complaints or issues regarding cleanliness, maintenance, or safety to the supervisor or manager for immediate resolution.
- Ensure that public spaces are free from hazards and that any safety concerns (e.g., wet floors, loose handrails) are immediately addressed.
Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
