The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping area, to include public areas and night cleaning. This requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars and will assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. is helpful. These responsibilities may also include staff training, development and scheduling. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will promote an atmosphere that insures customer and associate satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members.
Additional responsibilities of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper are as follows but not limited to :
- Work with the Housekeeping team to close out the day and assist in setting up the following day.
- Ensure the public areas are supported and in good condition during evening events.
- Provide solution-based customer service with any guest concerns that arise during shift and assist with the follow-up of previous guest concerns from the day.
The salary range for this position is $61,800-$86,600. This is the pay range for this position that Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
