RECREATION ATTENDANT/LIFEGUARD (FULL-TIME SEASONAL)

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

** Starting rate: $17.00 per hour, start date: mid-February, Season will potentially end after Labor Day weekend.

The Pool Recreation Attendant/Lifeguard will be responsible for daily activities and pool slide lifeguarding assistance for kids. This person must have good communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We will provide lifeguard certification!

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collecting towels from the pool area.

• Maintain cleanliness of the pool grounds.

• Review reservations for Cabanas and daybeds.

• Conduct pool-wide announcements using a megaphone or sound system.

• Waterslide Operation.

Qualifications:

• Ability to swim

• Ability to lift more than 50 lbs.

• Ability to work outdoors majority of the shift.

• Open availability required – including weekends and holidays.

• Previous experience working with children or in a recreation setting preferred.

• Strong communication skills.
