Summary
The Reservations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Grand Hyatt Vail and Vail Residences call center to ensure that the department functions at its optimum potential. Manager will collaborate daily with Director of Revenue in all aspects of Reservations department operations, including daily task completion, creation and implementation of effective processes, quality assurance, celebrating successes, and effective coaching of staff for optimal performance. The Reservations Manager is also responsible for accurate tracking, reporting individual and team performances and communicating results.
In this management role, the leader will support the team and represent our property to prospective guests over the phone and through email correspondence in a professional and proficient manner to our guests and team. Manager must maintain a full knowledge of Resort accommodations and amenities in order to stimulate the pre-arrival expectations of our guests and create a positive guest impression. Position requires Manager to act as a liaison between all appropriate resort departments, resort guests, resort owners and the reservations and revenue teams to ensure that clear, effective communication between these departments to enhance the resort’s reputation, optimize revenue and provide the highest level of guest service.
Ability to coach and development team members, while providing a hands on approach with use of technology and tools available within Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. This person would report directly to the Director of Revenue Management.- Enjoy free meals in our colleague cafeteria for every shift worked

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Preferred previous experience with forecasting and revenue management.
- Must have extensive experience with customer service.
- Provide effective and timely communication on all reservation's changes for the team and throughout the hotel
- Follow up with other departments on guests requests and concerns regarding their stay with us
- Train, elevate and motivate the team effectively to create a positive and productive work environment
- 2 years Hotel Reservations or Revenue experience preferred
- Knowledge of Hyatt's reservation and revenue systems and procedures preferred
