The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the PC’s, servers, and all related IT peripherals. Key responsibilities include installation and support of workstations and over 300 network devices, LAN maintenance, projects implementation, user access management, adherence with all PCI-DSS requirements and assisting staff on all IT related functions, including training from a perspective of caring for our people so they can be their best.
The IT Manager is also responsible for day-to-day operation and maintenance of the hotel computer systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, PC support, documentation, troubleshooting, hardware/software installation, upgrades, data entry, system backup, cabling. Must be able to handle multiple projects, and prioritize according to hotel needs. The IT Manager maintains current systems, updates hardware/software inventories, and documents changes. The IT Manager will work with vendors and be able to escalate issues with vendors when necessary.
The salary range for this position is $91,200/YR - $136,800.00/YR

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Using the IT ticketing systems and support requests from colleagues and guests to identify and communicate total resolution
- Schedules and performs regular software and hardware maintenance
- Tests, documents and resolves conflicts with PC hardware and software
- Follows appropriate standards of PC configurations and software installations
- Establishes priorities for daily and project related tasks based on business needs and established service levels to meet deadlines
- Apply or assist in operating system patches, application updates, and approved corporate software tools
- Use corporate provided monitor tools to keep all systems compliant per corporate/directed standards
- Manages network, network printing, and network technical resources
- Maintains inventory of hardware and software assets
- Consults with leadership and corporate technology team to determine equipment requirements
- Contributes to annual budget for all technology related items
- Brings forth any issues that may affect systems and provide respective solutions to consider and implement
- Ensures company software, hardware, e-mail and internet policies are complied
- Monitors system performance and recommends to management and Corporate Technology Team system upgrades deemed necessary and the timeframe the upgrades will need to be made as well as the cost estimates and delivery schedules
- This position requires availability, in person and/or via mobile/remote access, during varied hours of hotel operation for IT system access, system upgrades, and to support hotel colleagues and guests
- Utilize vendor resources for support of multiple systems in a 24/7 environment
Qualifications
Qualifications - External
- Proven ability to handle a large workload with minimal guest disruption
- The successful candidate should have strong IT and time management skills and be a self-starter
- Reliable track record for seeing projects through to completion
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office based products as well as Windows Server and Windows Operating Systems, PC/Server hardware, and software troubleshooting
- Experience configuring and supporting PC’s, servers, mobile devices, Mobile Device Management (MDM) policies and tracking
- Knowledge of Opera PMS and Micros POS an asset
- Associate Degree or higher (or equivalent experience)
- Professional demeanor, attention to detail, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
- 3 to 5 years IT help desk or similar system support experience
- Basic knowledge of IP networking protocols and standards
- Experience with Aruba wireless networks, HP and Cisco switches
- Experience with digital signage preferred
- Basic knowledge of low voltage structured cabling systems
- CompTIA Network , A , or Security preferred
- Ability to maintain and report the state of compliance to executive level management (e.g. PCI, SOX, Data Privacy, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
