Job Description
Under the direction of the Managing Art Advisor, the Senior Art Advisor will interpret and curate a collection of art product for a variety of clients. Industry segments may include Hospitality, Healthcare, Multi-Unit Living and Office Spaces. A Senior Art Advisor will rely on extensive experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals. They will perform a variety of tasks that contribute to the success of the project. The Senior Art Advisor brings a high level of creativity and ‘think outside the box’ concepting. The ideal candidate is creative yet detail oriented, able to juggle multiple deliverables at one time all while delighting our customers. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This role will be considered part of the Grand Image Sales Team (GIST) and report to the National Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with internal partners, including the use of the studio / sourced artists to concept interpret the art vision of assigned client / project—including collaborating / overseeing the commission process.
- Researches and selects appropriate artwork, sculpture & wallcovering to meet the design standards and budget of assigned projects in the form of curated art packages for client review
- Effectively interprets architectural plans and manufacturing specifications. Reads and takes accurate measurements and data from client-provided materials.
- Works on multiple projects at various phases concurrently with time-sensitive deadlines, while constantly multi-tasking as priorities within projects shift.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; webinars, industry events, & continued education maintains a pulse on the art market, trend, emerging artists, new design concepts
- Provides a superior customer experience by delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
- Manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, troubleshoots or devises contingency plans as needed.
- Acts as designated creative point of contact for select clients.
- Compile pricing details for specified artwork within packages to be entered into a formal quote within our system for project management review.
