Position Title:

School Monitor - Cafeteria

Anticipated Location: Charlotte Sidway Elementary

Anticipated Starting Date: ASAP

Anticipated Hours: 10:45AM - 1:00PM Monday-Friday

Salary: $19.37/HR

Qualifications: High school diploma or four years' experience in the care and supervision of children.

Must enjoy working with elementary school aged children.

Able to walk and stand for approximately two (2) hours.

Familiarity with cafeteria procedures preferred.

Duties:

1. Circulate among students to supervise behavior and attend to students' needs, such as obtaining lunch, and opening containers. Providing utensils and help with washing hands.

2. Maintain allergen free spaces.

3. Maintain tables and floor in order to assure a safe, healthy and attractive environment.

4. Establish & maintain a positive culture for students.

5. Familiar with and/or can support Positive Behavioral Intervention & Support procedures for the cafeteria.

6. Other duties as assigned by principals.

7. Follow directions from supervisors.
