Position Requirements:Purpose
As part of GIPS’s Positive Systems of Support, the Individual provides coordination of a multi-tiered system of support for students and job-embedded professional learning that helps GIPS staff more effectively and consistently support the success of each individual student and family. In conjunction with the building Principal and the MTSS Coordinator, the Individual Positive Behavior Support Coach is a member of the building leadership team that helps provide the support and technical expertise for staff to implement highly effective instructional strategies with a focus on student achievement outcomes.
Bachelors degree-from a college of university
Teaching Certificate from Nebraska Department of Education
Masters in Administration, Curriculum and Instruction or Special Education is preferred
