Job Details
Triages, assesses, manages care of ER patients.
Able to give medications and critically think.
Able to care for peds to adults, codes, traumas, or any other illness or injury.
Equipment utilized : Phillips’s monitor, Meditech, Level I, Stryker beds, Pyxis, glucometer, C-Pacs, blood warmer, slide air mattress, Hoyer lift, stand to sit lift, ECG machine, Plum pumps, Lucus device, Lifepack.
Job Requirements
2 years of RN experience in the ER
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
RN license from the State of NE (or multistate)
ACLS
PALS
TNCC
ENPC (preferred)
Schedule Information
12-hour shifts, 36 hours / week; OT sometimes available.
Night shift is 1845-0715.
Every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Will always be scheduled with another RN.
1 staff meeting / month.
Unit Specific Information
8 patient exam rooms and 1 triage room
Nurse to patient ratio : 4 : 1
Dress Code : gray scrubs
Travelers get 1 day of orientation and 1 night of orientation, then they are on their own.
