Position: Gas Measurement Tech - Entry Level
Schedule: 5/2 (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities:
- The Gas Measurement Technician Helper is responsible for assisting Measurement Technicians in the installation, maintenance, and calibration of gas and liquid meters, as well as associated mechanical and electronic systems
- This role is essential in ensuring accurate data collection and compliance within the Environmental and Energy sectors, contributing to SPL's mission of promoting transparency and sustainability.
- Perform onshore job duties, utilizing a company vehicle
- Participate in the "On-Call" program on a rotating schedule, which may extend into weekends and/or holidays
- Properly prepare all necessary paperwork and documentation of service performed
- Identify industry related equipment and measurement terminology
- Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain primary and secondary devices
- Conduct multi-point verification and orifice plate inspections
- Troubleshoot gas measurement systems
- Edit and maintain preventative maintenance schedule
- Procure spot or composite gas samples
- Transport hazardous and/or nonhazardous materials
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree/Technical certification in Electronics/Instrumentation, Production or Environmental Technology
- 1 years of Oil & Gas Energy or Environmental Sector experience a must
- Must be able to maintain detailed documentation and display of effective oral & written communication skills
- Ability to utilize a laptop PC and applicable software programs; ability to prepare accurate and legible reports
- Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions
- Candidate must have clean driving record and hold a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass all required onboarding requirements including background check, drug screening, MVR, etc
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
