Overview:
· The Spotter / Rigger will be responsible for providing visual guidance and support to equipment operators, ensuring safe and efficient operations on the construction site. The role involves monitoring the movement of heavy machinery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and facilitating clear communication among team members.

Key Responsibilities:
· Act as the eyes and ears for equipment operators (e.g., crane, forklift, excavator operators) ensuring the safe movement of machinery around the site
· Identify and communicate potential hazards, such as ground conditions, obstacles, or proximity to workers, and report any unsafe practices immediately
· Ensure compliance with all site safety regulations and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
· Provide clear and concise signals or verbal instructions to equipment operators to guide their movements safely
· Assist in navigating machinery in confined spaces or near sensitive infrastructure, such as solar panels, and electrical components
· Maintain constant communication with the operators and other team members using radios or hand signals
· Monitor work zones and coordinate the flow of equipment and personnel to avoid congestion and maintain productivity
· Assist in setting up and maintaining barriers, signage, and safe zones around active work areas

· Report incidents, near-misses, or equipment malfunctions to the Site Supervisor promptly
· Assist with general labor tasks as needed, such as material handling, site cleanup, or basic maintenance
· Participate in daily safety meetings and contribute to discussions on improving site safety and efficiency
· Valid drivers license
· Proven experience as a spotter on a construction site, preferably on solar farm projects
· Understanding of construction site safety protocols and equipment operation
· Strong communication skills, including proficiency in using hand signals and radio communication
· Attention to detail and situational awareness
· Ability to remain alert and focused in a high-paced, dynamic environment
· Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in varying conditions

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60 – 70 per week
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

- Atlanta, GA (Clayton County): Relocate before starting work (Required)
