Nursing Assistant - Home Health & Hospice (Casual)

Hours of Job

• Casual Employment, working as needed.

• 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• The nursing assistant provides one-on-one personal care (bathing, dressing, haircare) to individuals in their home, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

• Additional duties of light housekeeping may be requested.

Requirements

• Applicant must be willing to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.

• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

• Ability to work independently.

• Reliable transportation with minimal liability insurance

• Valid driver’s license

Education/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• STNA Certification Required

Experience

• Previous long-term care, acute care, or home health care experience preferred.
