Part-time employment through P.T. Services.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
May be required to do some or all of the following, dependent on the business needs (including but not limited to):

Provide occupational therapy evaluations both in the outpatient and inpatient setting.

Work collaboratively with COTAs and other disciplines to provide excellent patient care
-
Provide an Occupational Therapy program which will: improve, develop or restore functions impaired or lost through illness, injury or deprivation and improve ability to perform tasks for independent functioning
-
Direct and supervise the activities of the Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Maintain an efficient and effective schedule

Maintain required certificate(s) and/or license(s).
Requirements
-
Competent use of computer systems and software
-
Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 Coding.

Customer service skills for interacting and communicating with patients and family members of diverse ages and backgrounds.
-
Ability to work well in a team environment.
-
Problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies
-
A calm manner and patience working with patients and their families
-
Maintaining patient confidentiality as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

Ability to multitask.
-
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
-
Possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Education/Experience
-
Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
-
State of Ohio Occupational Therapist License
-
Valid CPR Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
