Duties and Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the Employer Outreach Department for Grand Lake Health System, supporting the sales and marketing efforts for Occupational Health services and managing provider relationships.
Ensure the seamless execution of services for Employer Outreach programs, consistently meeting client expectations.
Independently coordinate service dates with clients and internal departments, ensuring appropriate staffing and cost control.
Manage the full process of delivering health risk assessment services to corporate clients.
Ensure accurate completion and submission of billing for services rendered (transaction sheets), staff time sheets, and mileage logs for processing and reimbursement.
Assist in the development and monitoring of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring staff competency to meet the needs of both clients and community members.
Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and service standards in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Serve as a liaison between the hospital, community members, and employers within the service area.
Provide monthly updates on departmental progress to the Executive Director of Outreach.
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods, and work at a computer for up to two hours.
Capable of driving to offsite locations and navigating the facility, with the ability to walk distances of up to one mile without resting.
Education/Certifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with preference for experience in offsite industrial health environments.
Clinical expertise in occupational health and wellness is preferred.
