Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible and immediately supervised by Director of Medical Services.
- Practices within the scope of practice for RN according to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act while adhering to GRAND’s policies and procedures
- Provide direct supervision to Registered Nurses, including scheduling and assigning duties
- Responsible for evaluating if RN Review and Medication Clinic scheduling guidelines are being followed throughout the crisis units
- Responsible for oversight of Registered Nurses’ charting documentation
- Models delivery of appropriate health promotion and disease prevention messages based on age, development, culture and other consumer resources
- Along with Medical Program Director, reviews and make adjustments to the duties of the Registered Nurse positions with the agency
- Promotes interdisciplinary approach to treatment and readily collaborates with clinical staff
- Advises, with assistance of medical staff, regarding medical issues and other health issues
- Serves as liaison between medical staff and RNs and other staff concerning consumer related issues
- Assesses need for supplies, equipment and work related equipment
- Promotes a safe and efficient working environment, including infection control and universal standard precautions
- Responsible for filling in as Registered Nurse when necessary due to unforeseen or unexpected situations
- Other duties as assigned
Must perform the specific job duties as listed above to meet position expectations.
This position requires excellent nursing skills and knowledge, ability to train staff, proficiency in reviewing, contributing to the creation of and implementing protocols. Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Understanding scope of practice, patient safety and evidence based practice, strong physical health and mental health / substance use background. Proficiency in COWS / CIWA. Excellent computer skills including technology communication, excel, Microsoft products, ability to create, manipulate and interpret data and graphs. Excellent team work and collaboration.

Qualifications
Preferred Experience & Education:
- Valid permanent Oklahoma Nursing License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, (no restrictions) with three (3) years nursing supervisory experience and four (4) years mental health nursing experience.
- Must have 2 years of crisis services relevant experience.
- Proficient Computer Skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Core competencies in relation to consumer population with co-occurring disorders
In addition, must possess skills in working cooperatively and effectively with clients, staff, management and other professional groups; in exercising mature judgement in dealing with people; in presenting ideas clearly and accurately; in reading and comprehending the English language; and in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
Salary : $105,000
