Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, such as office, supportive / assisted Living, or residential homes. Duties:
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, heavy lifting and polishing surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and housekeeping management practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency
- Good communication skills to interact with clients or guests in a professional manner
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
Skills:
- Hospitality: Provide exceptional service to residents and guests by creating a clean and comfortable environment.
- Floor care: Knowledge of proper techniques for cleaning different types of floors.
- Housekeeping management: Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Clean: Maintain cleanliness in all areas by following established cleaning procedures.
- Industrial cleaning: Familiarity with specialized cleaning equipment or techniques used in industrial settings.
- Custodial: Perform custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, cleaning windows, or maintaining outdoor areas.
- Supportive Living: Experience working in a hospitality setting is a plus.
