Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Assist in specialized areas such as memory care, mammography, PICU, and ventilatory support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Engage in health coaching to promote wellness and preventive care.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in acute care or critical care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with ventilatory support techniques and monitoring equipment.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and nursing best practices.
- Experience or training in areas such as health coaching or specialized nursing fields is advantageous.
