What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing Navigator - ARC position at Grand Mental Health?
- Coordinate housing referrals.
- Serve as point of contact for all PSH housing with GLMHC. Coordinate all needs with landlord and funding sources. Serve as a liaison for tenants and property manager.
- Manage the planning and implementation of training for housing specialists. Maintain all appropriate project deliverables and responsibilities, for example, project scheduling, change management, issue management, status reporting and working with appropriate personnel to asses risk when necessary.
- Assist in the creation, management and documentation processes for review and evaluation of proposals related to housing. Participate in these review processes related to the housing program.
- Monitor housing program needs for accuracy and timeliness to ensure the focus on successfully achieving goals and compliance requirements applicable to the project.
- Oversee all aspects of execution, including identifying and solving problems that would otherwise delay the projects.
- Provide guidance and assistance to department management and personnel, as requested.
- Respond to inquiries related to ongoing projects.
- Organize and lead various project reviews and pre-implementation or conclusion meetings.
- Establish and maintain liaison as required with boards, committees and commissions. Serve as an active member in Area Continuum’s of Care.
- Assist in developing housing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
- Coordinate schedules of staff and other interested parties, as requested.
- Work with Administrators for Adults and Children on processing housing referrals and determining needs and next steps.
- Work with Senior Director of Adult Services and Senior Director of Children’s Services on housing referral needs and program implementation.
- Must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with this position.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job requirement.
- Must meet “satisfactory” expectations at any scheduled job performance evaluation. Quality of work will be evaluated through training, skill, or special purpose.
- Must be competent and adequate.
