Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and other amenities.
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Assist in the organization of housekeeping supplies and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
- Uphold hotel policies regarding cleanliness and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing for long periods, lifting, and moving heavy items.
