Position Summary:
Dynamic Construction Company is looking for an energetic, hardworking, and skilled Assistant Construction Superintendent in the Augusta, GA area. Proficient at all aspects of construction and trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety and applicable building codes. Experience in multiple family construction is highly preferred.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Superintendent in upholding job schedules
- Communicate with project management team
- Coordinate with logistics company for warehousing and deliveries
- Ability to work with building departments to obtain permits, inspections and final closeout documents.
- Manage all sub trades and ensure they are on budget and schedule and that they are coordinating inspections and compliant with pertinent building codes
- Maintain safe work sites for subcontractors, ensuring all sites are compliant with OSHA guidelines
Candidate should possess the following skills and abilities:
- Operates power-driven machinery such as: table, panel, band and skill saws, rotary hammer, planers, routers, jointers, belt sanders, drill presses, jackhammers, or other similar-size equipment and specialized tools to complete assigned tasks and projects.
- Detail oriented and excellent organization skills
- Competency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be dependable and on time
- Work in a fast-paced environment, flexibility.
- Adept at establishing relationships with all parties involved in the construction process that facilitate harmonious working relationships during project, and permit prompt resolution of problems and conflicts as they occur.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background and drug screening
Candidate must have dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- At times this position is very active and requires standing and walking for 10 hours/day.

Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, weather (heat, rain, snow…etc.) and basic construction site working conditions.
Salary: Competitive salary and based on experience
