Description
The Pool attendant is the face of the recreation department. They could work both the outdoor pool, outdoor lazy river or our indoor pool/spa. Responsible for greeting guests using the facilities daily. Must be friendly and outgoing and have a smile on their face. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, answering phones, helping guests with questions and information both in person and on the phone, scheduling Spa appointments, selling retail items, providing guests with towels, checking and testing pool water, maintaining and cleaning pool deck, scheduling and taking payment for resort activities, daily cash outs, and monitoring fitness center. They will check passes and ensure those entering are registered guests.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Minimum 1 year experience in customer service/hospitality driven position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Employee may have to push, pull, reach and bend. Lifting items up to 15 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work could be performed in both a climate controlled environment, as well as to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature daily.
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible. The earliest any shift would be is 7am and the latest is 10pm.
