What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant position at Grand Peaks?
The Leasing Consultant is the primary property sales representative and resident customer service liaison. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prospecting and Leasing:
- Actively seek out and engage with potential residents through various channels, including in-person tours, phone calls, and online platforms.
- Conduct informative and engaging property tours, highlighting unique features and benefits.
- Professionally present lease terms and conditions, addressing questions and concerns.
- Efficiently process lease applications, credit checks, and background checks.
- Collect required documentation, fees, and deposits.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to both prospective and current residents.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and concerns, addressing issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming community atmosphere.
- Assist with resident retention efforts, such as renewal processes and resident events.
Administrative Tasks:
- Accurately maintain resident records and lease documentation.
- Prepare and submit required reports, including leasing activity, traffic logs, and market surveys.
- Utilize property management software to track leasing activity and resident information.
- Assist with property maintenance requests and follow-up on service issues.
Marketing and Branding:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract new residents.
- Maintain a clean and inviting property appearance, including common areas and model units.
- Stay informed about local market trends and competitive properties.
Compliance:
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local fair housing laws and regulations.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leasing or sales, preferably in the multifamily industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in property management software.
- Valid driver's license.
