*Job Summary*
The Dental Assistant will support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials. The role involves assisting the dentist during examinations and treatments while ensuring a comfortable and efficient patient experience.
*Duties*
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain patient records and documentation
- Perform laboratory tasks such as mixing materials for impressions
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
*Qualifications*
- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods
- Experience with Eaglesoft software is preferred
- Familiarity with infection control procedures in a dental clinic setting
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and X-rays
- Proficiency in general dentistry procedures
- Strong organizational skills to manage medical records efficiently
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.66 - $22.39 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
