Responsibilities :
Perform tasks related to layout, excavation, reinforcing steel installation, welding, concrete finishing and form workMust have 3 years' experience running concrete crewInstruct and train others working under you to learn all aspects of the jobOperate skid steer, excavator and dump trucksAssemble Symon brand form panelsFabricate and install hand crafted steel and / or wood formsWeld and install embedded steel items in concretePerform layout, operate levels, transit and laser layout equipmentPlace and finish concrete walls & slabsPerform daily job-site cleanupResponsible for safety in all aspects of their workResponsible for ordering equipment and materials when needed in a timely mannerStage and setup equipment and materials needed on the jobTravel to job sites with work crewInterface with customers, project managers and department coordinatorsMaintain a positive attitude at all timesValid Drivers LicensePits & Foundations Foreman Knowledge, Critical Skills, and Abilities :
Extensive knowledge of the Concrete & Excavation tradesMust be familiar with concepts behind earth retention systemsComplete understanding of heavy construction process and how trades interactMust have at least a High School Education or EquivalentMust have a valid driver's license and a good driving recordPhysical Requirements :
Must be able to ascend / descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and / or operate scissor / boom lifts while working at height.Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly / occasionallyMust be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazardsMust be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.Must be able to work in cold / hot environments.Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, and nothing herein restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
