Our client, an IP law firm, is seeking an Associate to join their Electrical Engineering practice group in Chicago, IL .
Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of patent application prosecution in Intellectual Property law.
Strong academic credentials with experience / knowledge in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
Responsibilities include :
- Interviewing inventors to learn about new ideas to be patented.
- Advocate for clients before the USPTO to see issuance of a patent.
- Writing and amending claims for the patent application.
- Provide high-quality service to domestic and foreign clients.
Compensation : Annual salary up to $225,000
