Private international boarding school-based residential program is seeking live-in counselors to provide therapy, crisis support, and case management for adolescent males (ages 14-21) with mental health concerns and trauma histories. Living in private on-site apartments, counselors will facilitate weekly individual and group therapy, engage in conflict resolution and crisis intervention, and document client progress while fostering a structured, therapeutic environment. Candidates must have a Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, be licensed (LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC), and have residential or clinical experience (preferred).
We are seeking live-in counselors to join our residential therapeutic program at a private boarding school serving adolescent males (ages 14-21) with mental health concerns and trauma histories. Counselors will live on-site in private apartments within the dormitory and play a key role in individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, and client supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly individual and group therapy sessions.
- Support residents through crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and skill-building.
- Document client progress through treatment plans, progress notes, and incident reports.
- Maintain a structured, therapeutic environment in alignment with best practices and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
- Licensure required (LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC).
- One year of clinical or residential experience preferred.
- Experience with QRTP and CARF accreditation is a plus.
