What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cage Cashier position at Grand River Casino?
SUMMARY:
Provides customer service for all money transactions in an efficient and timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Cage Cashier counts and verifies all currency, coins, checks, chips, tokens and miscellaneous in the cage at the beginning and end of assigned shift. He/she ensures Title 31 paperwork is completed for assigned shift. He/she prepares tills for the restaurant, bar, gift shop, Lodge, and The Bay and campground. The Cage Cashier counts and verifies slot machines hard and soft count drop and the blackjack drop. He/she documents all machine operations relating to the transactions of the cage and ensures the safety and accuracy of the assigned bank and tracks any inaccuracies that may occur. The Cage Cashier follows all cage related procedures and performs any other duties assigned by the Cage Supervisor. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES
GENERAL:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind. Must be able to work various automated machines and computer programs.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE:
No experience necessary
PHYSICAL:
Must be physically able to withstand continued standing for periods of 8 hours or more and lift up to 50 pounds.
