What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campground Supervisor position at Grand River Casino?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures safekeeping of all cash, merchandise, and property.
- Operates POS system, collections of payments and verifying reconciliation of reports and cash/checks/credit cards/gift certificates.
- Assists in the ordering of inventory; reception of merchandise; and reconciles each order with their packing slips. Regularly rotates inventory and maintains the adequate display of merchandise. Will replenish merchandise and supplies for store, restrooms, cabins and campgrounds.
- Monitors all areas to ensure cleanliness and address all guests inquiries. Will ensure facilities are well maintained; in proper working order; and meet cleanliness standards.
- Verifies the authorization of guests in the campground and boat dock areas.
- Assist at The Bay store and cabins, if needed, as well as assisting in the training of new staff. Ensures compliance of policies and procedures for security, sales and record keeping.
- Aids the Bay Director to ensure all shifts are adequately staffed. Will assist in providing proper shift coverage for any scheduled time off and/or if short staffed.
- Supervises staff and the operation of business in the absence of Bay Director.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Prerequisites:
General: Must be 21 years of age. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal non-gaming license. Must possess a valid drivers license.
Education: High school diploma or GED certificate.
Physical: Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours at a time; normal (or corrected to normal) vision and hearing. Must possess the abilities to bend, kneel, reach and grasp, as well as lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
