POSITION TITLE: Dishwasher/Janitor
REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Leads/Supervisors/Director
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
DOL STATUS: Non-exempt
SUMMARY:
To provide customer service and ensure guest satisfaction while performing all the required duties of the job. To ensure cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant. To also work with your fellow GRC employees together as a team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Dishwasher/Janitor cleans all dishes and puts them away in their appropriate areas. He/she cleans and organizes the walk-in cooler and freezer; kitchen and dish-wash area, which includes the char broiler, exhaust system, ovens and dishwasher, etc.; and restaurant area making certain that all floors, tables, chairs, booths, etc. are clean. He/she will perform all other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Supervisors. Dishwasher/ Janitor must be willing to cross-train for other positions within the Food and Beverage department. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Non-gaming license. Must be able to obtain a food handlers card. Must be able to read and follow directions.
PHYSICAL: Must be physically able to withstand continued walking and standing for periods of 8 hours or more and be able to withstand bending, reaching, grasping and lift up to 50 or more pounds occasionally.
