What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resort Housekeeper position at Grand River Casino?
SUMMARY:
To ensure all non-gaming areas of Grand River Casino & Resort, which includes The Bay Cabins, are clean and presentable to the public.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Resort Housekeeper must complete all checklists during their shift and keep assigned areas of the facility clean and presentable. They ensure guest rooms and cabins are cleaned and prepared according to company standards, within a certain time frame. The Resort Housekeeper ensures laundry is washed and folded, cleaning chemicals are mixed and stored properly, and Resort conditions are safe for all. He/she will notify their supervisor of unsafe conditions or of any repairs that are needed on the premises. They will perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Lodge Director and/or Supervisor.
Employees shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES:
Must be 16 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal non-gaming license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision.
PHYSICAL: Must be physically able to withstand continued walking, standing, and kneeling for periods of 8 hours or more and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to reach overhead.
