What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surveillance Agent position at Grand River Casino?
SUMMARY:
Monitor all gaming areas as required by internal control standards. Monitor all other areas as required by policy and procedures, ensuring security of casino premises.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Surveillance Agent ensures that compliance of company standards by monitoring all departments and documenting all exceptions to policies and procedures while monitoring casino activities. He/she constantly uses cameras to observe casino and surrounding premises, ensuring proper positioning of surveillance cameras. The Surveillance Agent must have knowledge of all gaming departments’ policies and procedures, ensuring compliance, and must also keep all information confidential. He/she must complete audits as required in the Surveillance manual and must conduct inventory of forms. The Surveillance Agent must know how or learn how to run surveillance wires throughout the casino and surrounding premises and to install surveillance cameras. He/she must be able to work rotating shifts on a weekly basis and perform any other duties as assigned by the Security Director and/or Security Shift Supervisor. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind. Must have or be able to attain CPR, First Aid and A.E.D training certificates.
EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE: Six months experience in the fields of security or surveillance preferred. Must be proficient at the use of the computer programs Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
PHYSICAL: Must be physically able to withstand continued sitting for a period of 8 hours or more and be able to work in a confined area with minimal supervision. Must also be able to stand on ladders or lifts.
