SALARY INFORMATION:
- $40.00 - $48.12 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (if eligible)
- Relocation Bonus (if eligible)
- Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts
- Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience

BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering occupational therapy modalities of treatment for residents at our state-of-the-art Care Center. Plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help residents develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaches residents skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities.
- Studies, evaluates, and records activities and progress.
- Administers treatments and physical agents in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, surgery, disease, or physical disability.
- Must adhere to Rehabilitation Services Department standard practice of strictly practicing traditional and evidence-based medicine and treatment.
- Provides services to residents in a long-term care environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have obtained a bachelors, masters, or doctorate degree in occupational therapy at a college or university which has been accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association, or be scheduled for the board examination.
- Must have current license with State of CO. Current BLS (CPR) certification upon initial hire and must maintain through GRHD employment.
- Practical experience obtained from previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy; working experience in a long term care setting preferred.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships both within the department and with the other departments.
