SUMMARY
The Grand Sierra is looking for energetic and customer service minded individuals to join the Spa. The Spa's nail technician guarantees guests are served in a warm, accommodating and professional manner ensuring total guest satisfaction. Guarantee prompt, courteous and team minded service throughout the entire department and adhere to all Grand Sierra Resort standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze patrons' nails to determine and recommend appropriate treatment.
- Treat clients in professional setting with strong effort placed towards providing a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
- Demonstrate, educate and sell related retail products.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment.
- Consult with clients about any health concerns, allergies and products they are currently using to determine any contraindications.
- Perform all nail care related treatments on spa menu according to treatment protocol.
- Prepare products, supplies and equipment as stated in protocols.
- Achieve weekly retail sales goals.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee : must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, team members and others. Is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel. May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend / stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push / pull. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
