Seeking Nurse Externs to join the Grand Strand Medical Center team!
As a paid Nurse Extern, you will work as a patient care tech, as well as function under the direct supervision of an RN and perform specific and assigned tasks.

Seeking Nurse Externs to join the Grand Strand Medical Center team!
As a paid Nurse Extern, you will work as a patient care tech, as well as function under the direct supervision of an RN and perform specific and assigned tasks.
Available Units:
- Neuro/Stroke
- Ortho
- General Med/Surg
- Must be currently enrolled in an approved RN Program and completed Fundamentals of Nursing
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
- You will provide adequate daily patient care and report information to Team Leader.
- You will provide a safe and confidential environment for the patient.
- You will accept accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, adhere to attendance policies, and utilize time and resources efficiently.
- You will reflect the values of HCA Healthcare and our ethics and compliance principles in your daily activities (as stated in Code of Conduct).
- You will commit to work 24 hours a month.
