Customer Service Representative / Handyman for Storage Facility
Location: A-1 Self-Storage, Jersey City
Pay: $20-$25/Hour (Based on Experience)
Full-Time | Must be Available for Holidays & Weekends

A-1 Self-Storage of Jersey City is looking for a Customer Service Representative/Handyman to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Rent storage units & increase occupancy
- Manage accounts receivable & process payments
- Deliver excellent customer service to new & existing customers
- Maintain a clean and organized facility
- Explain lease agreements clearly to customers
- Handle daily paperwork, deposits, and filing
- Update spreadsheets, data entry, and business files
- Occasionally lift & pack boxes (up to 35 lbs)
- Assist with minor maintenance/handyman tasks
- Respond to emergency situations
Requirements/ Experience:
3 years in Customer Service (Storage facility experience preferred)
3 years in Sales (Storage facility experience preferred)
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong communication in fluent English
Proficiency in Gmail, Microsoft Word, & Excel
Excellent customer service & sales abilities
Other Requirements:
Must have Valid Driver’s License
Must be available weekends & holidays
