SUMMARY
As an Activities and Tickets Representative, you get the opportunity to directly engage with guests as well as other departments. While in the Activity Center, you will collaborate with guests to secure activity reservations, provide resort information, and excite people about their GTR experience. Activity Center staff also assist guests with purchasing season passes, lift tickets, and a wide variety of other products. Along with working in the Activity Center, you will be given the opportunity to work at the Ticket Booth. While working at the Ticket Booth, your goal is to sell lift tickets as quickly and efficiently as possible, while providing a high-quality, personalized guest experience. The Activity Center and the Ticket Booth will work together closely to ensure both locations are staffed to meet demand, as necessary. Activities and Tickets Representatives have an active role in all resort activities and amenities. Our number one goal is delivering phenomenal guest service! We are looking for employees who can commit to 5 days per week and have flexible hours of availability; considerations will be made for those who are looking for part-time work. This position requires working some weekends, holidays, early mornings and evening shifts. Prior guest service experience required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Selling tickets and activities.
- Completing reservations for all resort activities and some offsite activities.
- Checking guests in for their reserved activities.
- Providing customer service/solving guest problems.
- Maintaining extensive, up-to-date knowledge of resort activities/information.
- Cross-selling other resort products
- Presenting resort and area information to visiting guests.
- Working constructively with co-workers.
- Balancing POS system and financials at the end of the day.
- Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required.
- Must commit to 5 days per week and have flexible hours of availability. Will be required to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and evening shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
- Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests at all times.
- Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
- Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
- Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
