ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Safely fit bikes, helmets and other gear to customers.
2. Handle complaints from customers.
3. Work as fast, yet as safely as possible during peak hours.
4. Understands rental forms and waivers of liability.
5. Must have knowledge of cross-country, downhill bikes and other related equipment.
6. Inform guests of options/prices available for bike rentals.
7. Performs all bike tuning functions.
8. Maintains a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
9. Cross trains to sell in other retail outlets.
10. Performs daily audit.
11. Understands resort liability as it pertains to rentals.
12. Performs other duties as assigned by the Bike Rental Supervisor and Retail Manager.
13. Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
1. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests at all times.
2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
5. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.
6. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
Due to the always changing schedule of the housekeeping department, days off may change month to month but two days off in a row are guaranteed. There is the possibility for overtime if any employees call off. Overtime is not guaranteed.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
