- Perform basic maintenance and repair of equipment by following instructions of shop supervisor.
- Assist with major repairs of equipment.
- Perform routine services of equipment (oil changes, grease machines etc.
- Maintain service records for machines services and repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area by following company safety policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort and shop morale by demonstrating a positive and cooperative attitude and performing duties as assigned.
- Maintain shop tools and equipment through proper organization.
- Improve technical knowledge by attending seminars and training courses.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
BASIC TOOL REQUIREMENTS
- End wrench set 3/8"-1"
- End wrench set 10mm-19mm
- Socket set 3/8" or 1/2" drive - 3/8"-1"
- Socket set 3/8"-1/2" drive - 10mm-19mm
- Crescent wrenches - 6", 8", 10" & 12"
- Basic plier set, needle nose, diagonal, slip joint, channel lock
- Basic screw driver set
- Hex drivers - 1/8"-3/8", 6mm-14mm
- Allen wrenches - 1/16"-3/16", 1.5mm-6mm
- Basic punch and chisel set
- Basic hammers-10-16 oz. and 3-4 lbs.
WORK SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
Due to the always changing schedule of the housekeeping department, days off may change month to month but two days off in a row are guaranteed. There is the possibility for overtime if any employees call off. Overtime is not guaranteed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum education, high school diploma. Basic mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel engines. Ability to operate heavy equipment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate with supervisor and other department staff.
REASONING ABILITY
Minimal complexity with ability to follow directions.

None. Basic mechanical training. Valid drivers license
