SUMMARY
Activity Attendants work directly with our guests and other departments to provide an exceptional guest experience. Activity Attendants play an active part in all resort activities and amenities. Our Activity Attendants are responsible for managing and operating all guest activities including belaying guests on our Rock-Climbing Wall, operating our Euro Bungy, and assisting guests with our Grand Targhee Mining Company Operation. In addition, Activity Attendants will manage our outdoor pool area; this includes supervising occupant capacity, checking guests in and out for lessons, and keeping the pool lounge clean and organized. These roles play a large role in the guest experience, services, and safety at all times. Activity Attendants serve as Targhee Ambassadors, engaging the guest at every opportunity. This role requires a commitment of five days a week, flexible availability, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Prior customer service experience is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operate the Rock-climbing wall, Euro Bungy, Mining Operation, and attend the outdoor Pool Area.
- Provide exceptional customer service in each interaction with guests, and ability to solve guest issues.
- Collaborate with multiple departments– this role works closely with multiple departments to ensure an exceptional experience for the guest.
- Provide resort and area information to visiting guests.
- Responsible for guest safety, and awareness of resort safety policies and procedures, and equipment safety requirements.
- 6. Must commit to 5 days per week, hours of availability must be flexible. Will be required to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
Qualifications: Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is required.
- CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred.
- Experience in climbing, hiking, biking, and a strong familiarity with mountain environments is preferred.
- Belay certification and knowledge of rock-climbing equipment and safety preferred. As a part of this role, you will complete belay training through the resort.
- Confidence and competence in risk-management required. You will be required to perform rescue maneuvers for the Euro Bungee and Rock-Climbing Wall which include a high level of physical and mental demand.
- Lifeguard certification preferred. Note: this is NOT a lifeguarding position but experience in pool safety is preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
Due to the always changing schedule of the housekeeping department, days off may change month to month but two days off in a row are guaranteed. There is the possibility for overtime if any employees call off. Overtime is not guaranteed.
