What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal Equipment Operator Winter 24/25 position at Grand Targhee Resort?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provides accessible and safe parking / walking area by removing snow and ice, delivering and placing aggregate. 2. Keeps equipment running by checking and replenishing fluids, and requesting minor repairs. 3. Arrives to work on time by having adequate transportation for snowy conditions. 4. Maintains good relations with guests by being courteous and helpful when interacting with guests while plowing. 5. Keeps minimal downtime on equipment by becoming familiar with obstacles and operating in a safe manner. 6. Provides superior service to our customers (internal and external) by following Resort Etiquette Guidelines while interacting with guests. 7. Responds to all guests and employees in a courteous and efficient manner. 8. Contributes to team effort by anticipating and accomplishing tasks required. 9. Performs other tasks as assigned. 10. Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required. 11. This is not an exhaustive list and other duties may be added and needed. RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY : 1. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests at all times. 2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. 3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor. 4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures. 5. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others. 6. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.
