We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer for our Charlevoix, MI location.
Full-time
Wage range: $22 - $27 per hour. Wages commensurate with experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Reads and understands prints
- Metrology using portable arm CMM’s
- Works with team members and customers to help launch new product
- Contributes to on-going quality assurance to confirm customer specifications are met
- Supports launch activities and advanced product quality planning activities including PPAP preparation, PFMEA’s, Process Flows, and Control Plans
- Works with both Production and Engineering teams to complete PFMEA’s
ADDITIONALLY, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years manufacturing experience
- 2 years in a manufacturing quality role
- Working knowledge of metal forming, machining, and welding
- Experience in FMEA Methodologies and Benefits
