Grand Traverse Pie Company is looking for friendly, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Associates at our Traverse City, MI location. As the face of our company, you will create a welcoming atmosphere, assist guests with orders, and ensure an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a warm and friendly manner.
- Take and process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions.
- Handle cash and card transactions using a point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and service areas.
- Assist in packaging pies and other baked goods for takeout and delivery.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure excellent service.
- Uphold company standards for food safety and sanitation.
Qualifications:
- Prior customer service or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
