SUMMARY
To greet guests, escort them to tables and provide menus. Helps coordinate dining room activity to provide efficient, fast and courteous service to all patrons.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be the first impression of Aerie, at all times, greeting all guests pleasantly and with a smile.
Answering all phone calls and entering any reservations into the Open Table system.
Fulfills special guest requests as far as seating arrangements, or any other special arrangements that have been made. Paying attention to reservation notes and communicating any special request to the server.
Communicates table being sat to either the server assistant, or server, or both.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of greater station, coat room and storage area.
Checks coats.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 1 -3 years experience in food and beverage
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous work experience within an upscale high volume establishment
Knowledge of fine dining and good knowledge of wines/beverages
Previous fine dining restaurant experience
Experience working in a hospitality role is preferred
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Support your food and beverage team. Understand and comply with all departmental and Company rules, regulations, Policies and procedures. The Greeter is responsible for keeping multiple details organized. This position requires working 3-5 days per week and is able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, Sunday mornings, and holidays. Must have strong organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude. Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas. Understanding of full service environment
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must possess the ability to multi-task several projects at once. Must be able to climb stairs and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis. Must be able to bend, squat, push, and pull frequently. Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently; squeezing and overhead reaching occasionally.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The Greeter position is located an inside, with occasional loud noise levels. The temperature of the restaurant are controlled by thermostats that run the heating and cooling systems. The position requires that the server work 3-5 days per week and is able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, Sunday mornings, and holidays.
COMMENTS
