ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute food and beverage service with precision before, during, and after banquet functions.
- Demonstrate proper banquet set-up, service, and clean-up procedures.
- Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines with ease.
- Maintain accurate cash controls and ensure storage areas are organized and clean.
- Adhere to strict grooming and dress standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Develop strong relationships with fellow employees and maintain a positive attitude.
- Report to work on time, in uniform, and equipped with necessary tools.
- Complete all assignments promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety throughout the work area.
- Clean and sanitize own workspace regularly.
- Maintain open communication with supervisors and stay informed about resort policies.
- Understand and implement environmentally friendly practices at the resort.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Previous food service experience is highly desirable.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Michigan driver's license, and be insurable under the resort's policy.
- Must be in good physical health.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Heavy lifting and pushing of carts may be required.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
- Remain calm and composed when dealing with dissatisfied guests.
- Take direction from senior banquet staff and respond accordingly.
