SUMMARY
To safely transport our guests, employees, and other designated persons to their destination with an emphasis on friendliness and customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
OTHER NECESSARY SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must pass DOT Physical Exam.
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
Must possess the ability to work with various personalities while maintaining impartiality. The needs for quickness and ease of adjustment to the work environment and flexibility to change are essential in this position.
Must be informative and deal effectively with guests and employees while being friendly at all times.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Must possess a current, valid CDL license; Group C, B, or A with Passenger Endorsement.
Must be at least 21 years of age with a driving record free of any alcohol or drug related convictions within the last 10 years and may not have more than 6 points in moving violations in the last 24 months.
Driver’s license may not have been revoked at any time in the last 36 months.
EQUIPMENT TO BE USED
In most cases, 14-25 passenger shuttle buses and once in a while smaller passenger vehicles.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
May be required to lift up to 25 lbs. and be able to sit for long periods of time while working alone in an enclosed vehicle. Required to have corrected normal range of hearing and sight. May be required to bend, stretch, reach, crouch and possibly crawl to secure wheel chairs on the handicap shuttles
TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS
Must be able to handle unique situations while remaining calm, focused and professional. Must be able to deal with difficult people without losing perspective. Must be able to work productively under strict time restraints with variable deadlines. Must be able to handle multiple calls and communicate effectively over the radio.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able and willing to work in or near a crowded, loud smoking environment. May be required to work in small, enclosed spaces. Must practice all safety policies, procedures and standards as set by OSHA. Driving in seasonal conditions and changes. We operate in all types of weather. Most work is performed in 14-25 passenger shuttle buses.
COMMENTS
Native American and Tribal Preference will apply. Must be able to pass a background investigation and a drug and alcohol urinalysis as a condition of employment. Must be able to work flexible hours and to take on additional responsibilities when asked. Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality.
